primary programs

Our primary programs for athletes ages 5-9 focus on building the skills and techniques that build the foundation to become great skiers and snowboarders. Our coaches create a fun environment for their teams and work to develop a love of the outdoors and winter sports while modeling how to approach challenging situations with grit, grace, and courage, the core characteristics of SBA athletes.

The primary programs follow the guidelines of the US Ski & Snowboard athlete development model and train two days per week on the weekend for most of the winter season. Additional weekdays are added during holiday breaks. Teams are formed based on age classification (U8, U10) and ability.
