Located on Donner Summit near Lake Tahoe, Sugar Bowl Ski Team lays the foundation for passionate skiers to embrace challenge with grit, grace and courage.
The Sugar Bowl Ski Team & Academy offers scholarships to skiers of all ages, both current and potential members of the Sugar Bowl Ski Team. The scholarship committee considers factors including an assessment of need, merit, number of applicants and funds available.
Scholarship recipients must be exemplary members of the ski team, and act as role models to other team members. Receipt of funds in future years depends upon satisfactory demonstration of the above criteria, as judged by coaches and scholarship committee.
To apply for a scholarship please complete the following form. Additional information should be returned to:
Sugar Bowl Ski Team & Academy, PO BOX 68, Norden, CA 95724 or fax to 530.416.1621.
Scholarship applications are due by August 31. SBST will notify applicants of their status by September 15. Applications received after August 31 will be processed on a rolling basis, subject to available funds. Contact John Horsch, Executive Director, with any questions.
Parents need to send a copy of their filed tax returns from the previous year. If parents are divorced, please provide forms for each parent.
ALL SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS MUST BE RECEIVED BEFORE APPLICATION CAN BE CONSIDERED.
