About the Volunteer Program
This year, the team has continued its policy of encouraging all team families
to volunteer. Each family must place a deposit of $250 on file with the
team. Families are responsible for a total of 32 hours of volunteering
each season.
If you have a specific skill or
profession (attorney, physician, architect, contractor, painter, electrician,
plumber, carpenter, etc.) and would like to volunteer in that capacity, please contact admin@sbst.org or visit the Ski Team
office.
Families may opt out of volunteering by indicating that the team should cash
the checks immediately upon receipt. All others make a promise to
volunteer a total of 16 hours/parent or 32 hours/family over the season.
If this total is not attained, the checks will be cashed. Each parent will
be considered individually; if they are able to complete their 16 hours, their
check will be destroyed.
